You will bring new solutions into service, delivering a future oriented data architectureand self-service business insight tools that can solve business problems of today and tomorrow.Main Responsibilities:

• Work with the business to set the strategy and shape working practices for a best-in-class data and analytics / Business Intelligence service function.
• Establish the vision for managing data as a business asset - to exploit data using research and analytics to maximize the return on data assets.
• Partner with business stakeholders & functional leaders to identify and drive enhancements, utilising data and analytics / Business Intelligence capabilities to improve business performance, measure growth and progress
• Support business insight, intelligence and predictive analytics reporting capabilities that can creates real business value
• Foster the creation of a data-driven culture, related competencies and data literacy across the enterprise. Identify areas where data is missing or is inefficiently used, recommend and implement improvements to systems company-wide and help to build businessled data governance processes
• Organize and lead a data and analytics centre of excellence, and constantly improve the organizations capacity to develop insights with advanced analytics. Manage, train and develop the data and analytics team.
• Forecast and plan projects and evolutions, secure accordingly the required resourcing levels to support business and project requirements
• Manage major incidents, problems etc - minimize any business impact by establishing clear and validated service levels agreements with customers and project teams.
• Manage 3rd parties, build strategic collaborations with external partners
• Partner with the IT team to scan the horizon for emerging management tools, skills, techniques and technologies

Key Skills / Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in an international fast-moving environment with a minimum of 5 years of experience organizing and running a large scale data and analytics organization in a similar context
• Breadth of skills and experience across data and business intelligence solutions and services.
• Ability to establish, document, communicate and implement a professional data strategy in collaboration with senior business stakeholders
• Strong background in data related technologies, with skills spanning across data warehousing, ETL/ELT, integration tools and business intelligence solutions that will help to build the data and analytics strategy
• Experience with the delivery of data and BI related solutions aligned with business expectations.
• Technical knowledge and skills across a variety of data and Busines Intelligence technologies, ideally including cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure) tools
• Experience of working in operationally complex organisations, with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP (from a database perspective) is a strong asset
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly valued
• Ability to motivate, train and lead a team with common vision on a journey to develop and evolve a data analytics/ BI service function
• Confident in negotiating and influencing at senior levels and in working with 3rd parties

Profile
