This includes developing and executing successful sales strategies, whilst managing a high-performing team and fostering strong relationships with clients, members and key stakeholders.Person SpecificationEssentialPrevious experience of working in sales, marketing or related field with exposure at senior or board level.Proven track record of success in sales and business development related leadership roles, demonstrating success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies that result in revenue growth and client acquisition.Strong understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices aligned to the commercial landscape, customer needs and competitive positioning to capitalise on business opportunities.Excellent leadership, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain professional relationships, including at senior and Board level.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales results and drive performance.Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and competitor activity, and make data-driven decisions.Excellent organisational skills to ensure projects are delivered within scope, time and budget.Strong team player and contributor with a collaborative approach to tasks, sensitive to others needs and pressures.Excellent written and communication skills, able to write clearly and interact well with audiences at all levels including effective presentation, listening and negotiation skills.Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.Excellent working knowledge of MS Office 365, Outlook, communication tools (Teams or Zoom) and the internet.Able to prioritise own workload and work on own initiative, unsupervised and to strict deadlines.Takes ownership and responsibility for personal actions/ contributions to projects.Have an understanding and appreciation of the contribution that leadership makes to organisational strategy and effectiveness, with a desire to make a difference’ in line with not-for-profit and charitable objectives.Willingness to travel.DesirableExperience in the not-for-profit or membership sector with familiarity in the unique challenges and opportunities associated in these sectors and business models.Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.Full UK Driving licence.Experience of managing budgets with basic financial analysis.Project management experience.To apply to this role please send your CVDue to the volume of applications we are only able to contact successful applicants.
