Job Description

Walters People: Accounts Assistant - Birmingham - Permanent - Up to £20,000 - Office basedIm currently working alongside a leading business based in Birmingham in their recruitment of an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. The role is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take there first step in their finance career.Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:

  • Accounts queries relating to a designated portfolio
  • Dealing with correspondence by post, email and phone
  • Handling and distributing incoming and outgoing post
  • Inputting of financial budgets for schemes
  • Printing and collating of outgoing communication
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Supplier payments
  • Communicating with Managers and Assistants to provide financial support
  • Overall administrative support to the finance team
  • Oversee and maintain income levels on the portfolio
  • Participate in departmental strategy and service standard delivery
About you as the Accounts Assistant:
  • Experience on Qube database (preferred not essential)
  • Immediately available for work or on a 1 week notice period (desirable)
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Well organised and methodical
  • Be able to work unsupervised competently
