Job Description

Experienced General Practice Receptionist requiredDo you have experience working in an admin role within General Practice Are you looking for more flexibility and freedom with your work lifeIf so, this is an exciting new opportunity perfect for you.Were working with a centre based in Birmingham who are looking for an experienced receptionist to work with on a temporary locum basis starting ASAP and on-going for the next couple of months.The rate for this role would be £11.75 per hour (this rate includes holiday pay), and the hours will be flexible around you.For this role, you must have experience working in General Practice and be confident with:

  • Reception duties
  • Making appointments
  • Taking messages
  • Liaising messages between clinical staff and patients.
    • As you would be the first point of contact for patients on arrival at the practice/on calling the practice, you will be a professional and friendly presence, with understanding on confidentiality.You will receive an induction on your first day, which will provide a great opportunity to be introduced to the team and find your feet in the Practice.
