Job Description

An oversubscribed school based inBirminghamare looking for a Geography ECTto join them on afull-timebasis. This position will initially be from September 2022 until July 2023, the successful Geography Teacher will be required to teach to GCSE and KeyStage 3 groups on a full time basis. As part of the geography team, you will have opportunity to lead and partake in field trips and residential trips abroad.The school was inspected by Ofsted and judged to be good in its most recent inspection, including behaviour of students and leadership and management.Long term positions are paid to scaleRequirements for the role:

  • Extensive and up to date subject knowledge
  • Dedication to each individual students progression
  • Forward-thinking and able to work with other Teachers and Teaching Assistants in putting the students first
  • Preparing and planning for lessons with marking required
  • Will be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service
