Youll work in collaboration with other Xeros to help create and deliver beautiful software to our customers, faster. Youll undertake software application development on applicationsin our existing suite of products (including new ones), contributing to new or improved experiences for our customers, internal and external.Youll help maintain the standard for engineering excellence at Xero and support your team members in building products together. Youll contribute to our cross functional environment by working towards the same objectives, using modern principles and practices.Youll be enabled to seek clarity with technical complexities and be able to demonstrate smart ways to automate. Youll be able to make data-driven decisions that will release value early to solve Xero customers problems more effectively.The Tech we use, and how often we use it:When working on the current stack, youll be writing .NET Core and .NET 5 web applications which is containerised and deployed to AWS using Kubernetes infrastructure.Youll be working with SQL Server but might also have a bit of DynamoDB sauce on the side. Youll be writing back-end code in C# and T-SQL, and front-end code in TypeScript/JavaScript as well as React and Redux for the frontend and our in-house JS/CSS frameworks.While writing code, youll also be adding tests as you go using Xunit, Jest, and mock dependencies.
