Are you looking for a long-term rotating day shifts, free parking, and attractive rates of up to £10.62 per hour We are recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers / yardman to join a major manufacturing outfit. You must possess CB B1 FLT licence, ideallywith a minimum of 8 months experience.Due to the nature of the role as a yardman you must be comfortable with the prospect of working outdoors as required.The hours of work for our forklift vacancy are :Days - Monday to Friday (Rotating shift) 0630- 1430 / 1430- 2230The company are looking to offer long-term days (rotating shift) positions, they also offering excellent amenities including a canteen and spacious working conditions. You will be dealing with bulky, heavy construction products, assisting as both a driver andoccasionally as a manual operative assisting with the use of relevant machinery.Experience as a yardman in a busy despatch environment would be advantageous, as would some experience in a production capacity.In order to be successful for this Flexible Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Yardman position, candidates must bring the following attributes:- Official Counterbalance certification only (RTITB, ITTSAR etc) - in-house forklift licences are not accepted- Moving pallets in the yard- Additional Reach and / or Clamp truck licences would be advantageous but not essential- Happy to work with alcohol- Ability to comfortably pass both written and practical aptitude tests using the MHE- Flexible approach to working hours including nights- Good communication skills- Team player- Safe and responsible Counterbalance Driver, practicing observation at all times- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines- Duties involve regular and repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting- Operating the MHE in sometimes very narrow gangways and loading wagons within very tight deadlinesPay rates are £10.62 but overtime is available at time plus one half for Saturdays and double time for Sundays.
