Urgent Requirement - Financial Planning Analyst - Birmingham Area - Up to £42,000 Depending on ExperienceUrgent Requirement - Financial Planning Analyst - Birmingham Area - Up to £42,000 Depending on ExperienceMy client a rapidly changing organisation in Central Birmingham are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning Analyst to join their team, this role is to handle the required analysis for their development division, the role will be offered on a permanent basis and for the right candidate progression and career development will be offered.It is essential that candidates have previously used the software Brixx Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum Essential Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA Home Based RoleDuties of the Financial Planning Analyst:

  • Handle all requirements for financial analysis within the development division
  • Hold responsibility for cash flow analysis
  • Experienced in the use of Brixx
  • Understanding of development finance
  • Supporting the head of financial planning and analysis
  • Responsible for the commercial business partnering with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on the analysis for the property schemes
  • Knowledge of investment appraisal techniques and the Housing Sector
  • Experience of working with new property development appraisals
  • Working with the New Property Development team to review investment appraisals, using either ProVal, Argus or bespoke models and contributing to the reports submitted to Executive for approval of all schemes
  • Produce Stress tests and scenarios analysis of the Long Term Financial plan to assess the financial viability of the group
  • Understand and explain model results and wider commercial implications, verbally and in written reports
  • Creation and maintenance of in-house Excel appraisal models for complex schemes and projects including detailed cashflow, accounting and key performance indicators (KPI) to support commercial decision making, capacity maximisation and negotiation with stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on financial performance through financial models and advise on corrective action or escalation as required
