Job Description

Financial Crime Training and Quality Checking Manager / Birmingham / £49,000 / PermanentMy client, a bank in Birmingham, are recruiting a Financial Crime Training and Quality Checking Manager. You will be joining a fantastic team in an organisation that promotes people from within offering you a great opportunity to progress your career.Financial Crime Training and Quality Checking Manager duties:

  • Maintaining the Training.
  • Competency and Quality Checking Framework.
  • Leading the design and delivery of training and coaching activities within Financial Crime Operations.
  • Leading the Quality Checking team to ensure that required standards are being adhered to.
Financial Crime Training and Quality Checking Manager requirements:
  • Strong financial crime expertise and experience in a financial crime function, preferably within a retail banking environment.
  • Experience of leading training activities including Training Needs Analysis, design of financial crime training content and delivery against a Training Plan.
  • Experience of leading quality testing or assurance activities including setting the approach to testing, overseeing allocation/completion of cases and managing fluctuating work volumes.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex topics to a diverse audience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • A financial crime qualification is preferable (e.g. ICA or ACAMS).
