Job Description

An excellent opportunity is available with a leading financial services institution based in Birmingham City Centre for an Investigations Manager within Financial Crime Operations. The role will be office based three days per week with two remote workingdays.About the role:

  • Manage investigative productivity at an individual and team level, dealing with any associated performance and development issues
  • Ensure highest possible investigative standards at a team and individual level, applying robust Quality Control and assurance processes
  • Provide leadership and support ensuring direct reports are sufficiently trained to fulfil their roles and receive regular ongoing training as necessary
  • Ensure direct reports Human Resource processes are managed, including goal setting, regular 1-2-1s, mid-year and annual appraisals
  • Provide consistent, robust and defensible decision making to reports/cases to comply with relevant legislation and regulations i.e. Proceeds of Crime Act, Money Laundering Regulations
The Financial Crime Investigations Manager will possess excellent Subject Matter Expert experience and background within transaction monitoring/AML Investigations with a strong knowledge of AML trends. You will have a strong working knowledge in the useand development of third party risk management solutions. You will possess relevant industry qualifications such as International Compliance Association (ICA) Diploma, Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) CAMS certification, orother related Anti-Money Laundering qualification would be preferred, but not essential.This is an excellent opportunity based in The Midlands region with a business that prides itself on creating a healthy, engaged workforce.
