Job Description

Job Title: Financial Accountant (6 Month Contract)Salary: £18.83 p/hLocation: (B15) Midland HeartWorking Week: 35 Hours per weekWe are working with Midland Heart to help recruit a Financial Accountant. You will coordinate and manage the production and audit of Midland Heart’s annual service charge statements. You will ensure that the pillars of the Corporate Plan, (Making What Matters Brilliant; People Focused, Investing in Homes, Service First, Growth and Partnerships, Safe and Strong), are considered in all your activity.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce service charge statements in line with their respective year ends.
  • Liaise with External Auditors on service charge queries.
  • Ensure that draft service charge statements are reviewed by scheme managers.
  • Provide project support for a fixed assets project.
  • Adhoc support in other areas when required.
    • Skills & Experience
  • Part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Knowledge of producing Service Charge statements is preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience of producing financial statements for internal or external customers.
  • Ability to interact and represent Midland Heart positively to outside agencies, including External Auditors.
  • Ability to set own objectives and work independently.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
