Come and join one of the leaders in Security on our journey as we continue to grow and grow your career with us.This is a hybrid positions and you will be based at the office in B6 7SS 2-3 days per week.What you will be doing;Provision of timely, accurate and purposeful management and statutory information as required by the Senior Management team, Group Reporting, the Financial Controller and Company Secretary. Assisting the Operational Managers and Support Staff on all financialmatters and help them to maximise Gross Margins, Operating Profits and Operating Cash Flow. Implementation and adherence to the Securitas Group Policies and Guidelines, the Securitas Reporting Manual, accounting developments in UK GAAP and IFRS and any otheraspects of Corporate Governance.To contribute to the effectiveness of the Securitas team through responsibilities and participation in initiatives that supports the development of the business in the UK.Responsibilities

  • Contribution to the preparation of Monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • Lease accounting and reporting
  • Internal and External reporting, including HFM Group reporting
  • Collaboration with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable teams and Management Accountants
  • Support external and internal audits
  • Accruals/Prepayments and Intercompany Accounts
  • Adhoc tasks and reporting for Financial Controller
  • Business Partnering
Essential Skills What youll need:
  • Working towards an accounting qualification. (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Financial accounting experience,
  • Experience of financial transaction processing, preferred but not essential
  • The mindset to be adaptable, embrace change and respond positively
  • Initiative, with an enquiring mind and proactive
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
  • Desire and willingness to learn
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision desirable
