And as we shape the future of our business, we have roles available to join our growing team in the UK.We are building a new finance team based out of Birmingham and are looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team.The role....Reporting to the Finance Manager you will undertake the provision of timely, accurate and purposeful management information as required. Implementation and adherence to the Securitas Group Policies and Guidelines, the Securitas Reporting Manual, accountingdevelopments in UK GAAP and IFRS and any other aspects of Corporate Governance. Maintain proper accounting records to ensure that the Annual Report and financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable law and regulations.To contribute to the effectiveness of the Securitas Services UK ("SSUK") team through responsibilities and participation in initiatives that supports the development of the business in the UK.What youll be doing.....

• Annual report and accounts.

• Interim and full year audit for both statutory accounts and HFM reporting.
• Internal Controls Framework (ICFR) audit of controls and processes for Group Reporting.
• Corporation tax computation and HFM reporting and annual computation and filing of tax return for all legal entities with the HMRC.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations with updated Tax Risk Register for Corporation Tax, Employment Tax, NMW and VAT.
• Assist with Monthly Management Reporting including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements.

• Monthly, quarterly and annual HFM group reporting for actuals, forecast, bplan and budgets.
• To build, develop, lead the Financial Accounts Assistant to improve compliance/control and business insight through:

What youll need....

• Qualified accountant(ACA, ACCA, ACMA)

• Controls & Audit experience within companies (Tax / Statutory Accounts knowledge)
• Understanding of corporate simplification would be helpful.
• Experience of financial transaction processing and analytical skills.
• Have an inquiring and analytical mind, and be able to demonstrate good attention to detail
• Commercial understanding and business acumen

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in an audit environment preferred
• Working knowledge of HFM, BC14 Navision desirable
• Can Do attitude with the ability to work on their own and use their initiative positive
• Excellent organisational abilities to be able to balance different tasks and meet deadlines
