Job Description

Alexander Daniels are working with a large buisness who are looking to recruit a systems administrator. Ideally you will be part qualified and will have had some previous experience working within a finance team. You will be working along side some greatcolleauges.You will be responsible for providing systems support in key areas within the management accounts team in reconciling data between financial systems. You will need the abilty to track unusual transaction and assist in resolving these issues. You will ensurea smooth transition of any intergration or system changes.Key Responsibilities,

  • Lead the system accounts processes ensuring appropriate cover when absences occur within the team.
  • Complete monthly checks to ensure data integrity is maintained.
  • Reconcile and report on the balance sheet areas within M3 control accounts.
  • Interrogate anomalies within the GL and provide relevant data to assist in rectifying issues (system corrections)
  • Providing external auditors with their data requirements on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Advise other areas on the automated system postings and their anomalies.
  • Import and export data from systems, extract high volumes of computer data, prepare system/technical data for management review.
  • Assist with aspects of the Company accounting on M3 that are undertaken by Management Accounts, including, as required, preparing and ensuring that key systems reconciliations are performed on a daily/monthly basis.
  • Maintain the nominal ledger chart of accounts within M3 and the standardised reporting of cost centres and hierarchies Support system reporting requirements, including access rights.
  • Ensure all interfaces between the core finance systems and feeder systems are maintained and that the impact of any changes are communicated to manager.
  • Advise management of identified risks and issues, the appropriate action to take and then follow through actions to completion.
  • Work with the management accounts team to provide accurate information to deliver the UK monthly result within the group reporting deadlines.

  • Collaborate with the management accounts team in justifying key movements in aiding explanations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all process documentation is robust and up to date in line with group standards and expectations.
  • Challenge the business to maintain integrity of the financial ledger.
  • Identify finance training requirements (skills and knowledge) related to ongoing issues caused by lack of understanding as to how the finance systems work, how they integrate to the feeder system and where to find information e.g. costs.
On offer is a salary of up to £42,000
