Finance ManagerLocation: Birmingham, B18 5AY.Salary: £35,000 per annum.Contract: Full time, permanent. 40 hours between 09.00am - 17.30pm (May include some weekend working).We have a fantastic opportunity for an experience Finance Manager to manage the company finance department.The role is a key element in delivering a cost effective and efficient support for all our activities focussing on the financial, internal business processes. Has the passion and drive to move the department forward. This is an excellent opportunity forthe right candidate who possesses strong Finance management background and management skills to join a growing forward thinking business.Finance Manager - Key Responsibilities: Liaise with external suppliers, customers and third parties i.e., Tax Office; Produce monthly finance reports i.e. profit and loss/balance sheet figures; Send monthly profit and loss/balance sheet figures to the bank; Produce end of year report with supportive evidence if required; Product costing and the financial impact on the business; BACS Payments and accounts; Liaise with company external accountant Payroll submission Support the Production Planner in their absence Maintain companies cash flow and provide a forecast; a weekly forecast to be presented to MD; Budgeting Paying suppliers; VAT returns Payroll Journal Calculate sales rebate reserve Reconcile credit card Monthly and yearly stock take Reconcile bank accounts; Manage company Pensions; Line manages finance assistants Identify and action any training needs within finance department; Credit control; Control costs to enable greater profitability; Keep SAGE up to date to provide accurate information (maintain all ledgers); Other duties to include invoicing, credit control, purchase order processing; Knowledge of Invoice Financing Line manager two assistants Assist in other areas of the business when required. Provide accurate and timely information Maintain healthy financial position for the companyRequirements Must be organised and able to use own initiative, deal with staff issues and be able to build a team-working environment. To be fully aware of financial regulations and have a flexible approach to work; Knowledge of SAGE Payroll, and SAGE Line 50; To liaise with other staff, to develop systems within the company; University Degree Ability to pick up systems quickly and efficiently Advance Excel knowledgeEssential Relevant degree or at least 5 years finance management experience Must have extensive knowledge of SAGE Payroll, and SAGE Line 50; Advanced excel knowledge Line management experienceDesirable Experience of working with supermarkets would be an advantage; Food manufacturing experienceIf you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role than apply today!
