Field Service Engineer - InstrumentationWest Midlandsc£25k - £30k neg dep exp + overtime + benefits + vehicleOur ISO9001 and UKAS accredited Birmingham based client has been established for almost 30 years and specialise in the provision of calibration, repair, maintenance and enhancement services on a range of electromechanical equipment and instrumentation toa diverse range of industry sectors across the UK.They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated Field Service Engineer - Instrumentation - to complement their established and professional Birmingham based team and conduct on-site contractual calibration activities, trouble shootingand call outs at customer premises predominantly in the Midlands area with occasional visits further afield as required.The successful Field Service Engineer - Instrumentation candidate will be responsible for the build of electrical control panels, carrying out workshop repairs, testing temperature sensors and providing technical support as required, as well as assistingwith associated relevant office administration duties when required at the West Midlands based facility.This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated Field Service Engineer - Instrumentation - who has practical fault find and problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills at all levels who is seeking to further broaden their knowledgeand skill base with genuine scope for structured career progression.Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team, you will predominantly cover customers in the Midlands area although will be flexible to undertake occasional overnight stops when longer contracts require this.Knowledge of instrumentation will prove distinctly advantageous although onsite training will be given, and you will demonstrate previous experience of Electrical wiring & trouble shooting with knowledge and experience of Eurotherm controllers again provingparticularly advantageous, and it is envisaged that the successful candidate will be qualified in a relevant electrical or electronic engineering discipline.Essentially you will hold a full UK driving licence and demonstrate a high level of computer literacy in the MS suite of packages, and all necessary test equipment and safety PPE will be supplied by the client.Contact the Service Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on or email your cv in confidence to for further details.
