Job Description

Based anywhere in the Midlands (Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, Leicester, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Nottingham, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent)Excellent role on offer for a Service Engineer looking to join a well-established, ambitious company who offer extensive training and the opportunity to progress to become a Team Leader.Do you have experience as a Service Engineer Do you have a background maintaining Conveyors, automated equipment.On offer is a homebased role covering the Midlands patch where you will build and lead your own team in the future.Their system integration projects vary from a £20,000 multi-floor conveyor solution to a multimillion pound turnkey system which would provide clients with bespoke conveyors, stacker cranes, mini-load cranes, picking systems, pick by light, vertical lift modules, laser guided vehicles and all associated controls and software.This role would suit someone who is flexible to take on more responsibility and then take over the Service & Support function, then to actively grow it.The RoleThere are three main aspects to the role:

  • Planned Maintenance/Service
  • Reactive Service
  • Installation
  • £34,000 - £40,000 + car, bonus, mileage + expenses + holidays + pension + training + progression
    • The Person:
  • Someone who is Midlands based
  • To be electrically capable of reading electrical drawings and carrying out electrical fault finding
  • Mechanically able to remove and replace broken and or worn components and then replace them
  • From an industrial setting - automated warehousing, automation, plc controlled equipment
