Job Description

Field Service Engineer Salary: up to £45,000 OTE made up of basic, comission and overtimeLocation: Birmingham areaMetalis Engineering are currently working with a well-established and reputable company specializing in air filtration systems. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunityto work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to providing innovative air filtration solutions to clients worldwide.Job Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise and support for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced filtration systems at customer sites.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of filtration equipment to identify and resolve any technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide personalized solutions to optimize the performance of filtration systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of filtration equipment to ensure optimal functionality and extend product lifespan.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely response and resolution of customer issues.
  • Keep accurate records of service activities, including maintenance reports, equipment logs, and service documentation.
  • Train customers and end-users on the operation, maintenance, and safety protocols of filtration systems.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing our clients company professionally and building strong customer relationships.
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably working with filtration, HVAC systems or similar capital equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of filtration systems, fluid dynamics, and related equipment.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willing to travel and occasional overnight stays.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites frequently for on-site service and support.
Salary & Hours:
  • Salary: up to £45 per annum
  • Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
