Job Description

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently recruiting for a successful company who manufacture Aluminium Window and Doors. They are looking for an experienced Windows and Doors Estimator to join their growing team based in Birmingham.The role:

  • Liaising with customers to understand requirements and manage expectations
  • Advising and supporting customer with specification and compliance queries
  • Extracting information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted
  • Maintaining and developing professional relationships with current clients, as well as sourcing new clients to help future business development
  • Liaising with customers via phone and through the website
  • Producing high value tenders covering all aspects of architectural glass and glazing
  • Carefully inspecting tender documentation and analysing exact requirements
The candidate:
  • Proven track record of estimating aluminium windows and doors
  • Experience using LogiKal
  • Be able to work towards tight deadlines
  • Experience in the construction industry and understanding of construction tender drawing is essential
  • A minimum of two years experience as an Estimator is essential
  • Experience estimating both supply only and supply & Installation contracts is essential
  • To be able to manage own workload
  • Proactive, confident and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
