Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking to add a Female Waking Night Support Worker to our team in Birmingham, West Midlands.We are looking for a flexible, compassionate and motivated Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Birmingham, near Harbourne. This service is a three bedroom bungalow supporting 3 elderly individuals with a range of support needs including learning disabilities. They all have their own bedroom with shared communal areas. Our service users enjoy completing jigsaws, baking cakes and cupcakes, watching Soaps and many more activities!Support Worker Duties:– Provide personal care and support with domestic tasks e.g. cooking, cleaning etc.– Enable them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible.– Enable service users to gain independence, confidence and competence in areas such as: daily living, managing money, social skills/relationships and many more!– Collaborate with families of service users and involved professionals to provide a consistent service to meet individual needs.– Be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the service.Experience is desirable but not essential for this role, as full ongoing training will be provided.Benefits of working with Creative Support:– Free 24/7 counselling and employee support programme,– Support to complete the nationally recognised Care Certificate,– Competitive pay and a pension with company contribution and 28 days annual leave,– Company paid enhanced DBS for all staff,– All our staff are supported 24/7 by our out of hour’s teams.Exempt from section 7 2e of the SDA.
