Family Support Worker Birmingham £9 per hour Fixed term contractWe have a opportunity with a nationwide provider that provide family support to tackle some of the most complex and difficult issues facing families today - including financial hardship, mental health problems, social isolation, learning disabilities, domestic abuse, or substance misuse and alcohol problems.Now is a great time to join them because they are currently seeking an Intensive Family Support Worker, to join their established team in BIMINGHAM. The job purpose will be to, to provide an intensive family support service for families with multiple and complex needs. To work in partnership with families who are experiencing challenging situations / circumstances, in their homes and in the wider community, in order to achieve positive outcomes for the whole family. To be committed to working in a whole family way through the development of effective relationships with parents and their family members using strength-based approach.To work in partnership with other relevant agencies, for example YOT, School, Childrens Service, Health and Department for Work and Pensions. To improve outcomes for Birmingham families and childrenTo be successful within this role you must be a driver with experience in family support, social services and child protection. You must also hold your NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and. Level 4 Award, Work with Parents (Intense support to families with multiple and complex needs) is also desirable.
