Facilities Team Leader£32,000 - £35,000 P/A negotiable depending on experience37.5 hours per week, working any 5 out of 7Are you a proactive problem-solver with a knack for ensuring smooth operations in student accommodation Were seeking a Facilities Team leader with a passion for creating a comfortable and secure living environment for students across Birmingham!As a Facilities Team Leader specialising in student accommodation, youll play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our properties while ensuring the satisfaction and safety of our residents. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to showcaseyour leadership skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilities:" Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple student accommodation properties, including maintenance, cleanliness, and security" Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and renovations" Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues related to health, safety, and comfort of residents" Reporting into the facilities manager " Respond promptly to resident inquiries and concerns, always providing exceptional customer service" Implement and enforce policies and procedures to uphold compliance with regulations and standardsSkills & Experience required:" Flexibility to work between the hours of 08:00 - 20:00 and weekends as needed" Previous experience in facilities management, preferably in accommodation or hospitality industry" Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and coordinate a team of up to 11 operatives" Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach" Proven ability to prioritise tasks and problem-solve effectively in a dynamic environment" Knowledge of health and safety regulations, property management software, and basic maintenance techniques" Excellent administration & systems knowledge and experienceInterested to know more contact Steve Tomlinson or Hayley Whitehead at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial Hagley Court!
