Our Public Sector client based in Birmingham, is currently looking for a Team Organiser to support their Director. This will be Monday to Friday role for 35 hours a week, however the successful candidate must have a degree of flexibility in line with theneeds of the business. This will be a 6 month temporary assignment, paying £14.06 per hour. Currently this role will be working mainly onsite, with some opportunity to work from home.Your role will be to provide effective administration and secretarial support to the office and wider team, this will include diary management, maintaining personal records, organising and attending meetings, taking meeting notes and circulating/monitoringaction points. You will be responsible for organising travel, hotels and vehicles.You will be a liaison with both internal and external stakeholders, so you will need to understand the confidential nature of the role. You will need to build relationships with other business areas through personal contacts and through gaining a reputationfor high quality work and dependability. This will mean working with the rest of the Directorate team to ensure effective delivery of work, including providing cross-cover support.With this role you will also need to ensure that the Director is fully prepared for all activities undertaken in the course of their day to day activities, including writing, commissioning, co-ordinating and quality assuring briefings as necessary.Ideally you should have had previous Executive Assistant experience, and supported at Director level, you must also have strong knowledge of MS Office and preferably Oracle, together with strong interpersonal and communications skills.Please note this role will require a DBS check, and three years referencing.If you feel that you would have the necessary skill set for this role and are ready to take on a new challenge, please apply online.
