Wilmington PLC are looking for an Exam & Assessments AdministratorExam & Assessments AdministratorLocation: Birmingham - Fort Dunlop - B24 9FDSalary: £24k to £32k + Discretionary Bonus SchemeTerm: Full Time, PermanentWhy do we want youYou are currently an Exams and Assessment officer / Administrator / Manager or similar in a university / College / Higher Education or L&D environment where you have worked within regulatory frameworks and you are experienced in supporting students and partners through quality assurance, assessment and their examination journey.You have fantastic attention to detail, are incredibly organised and able to balance a number of priorities and have worked with Learning Management Systems (LMS)A bit about us.CLT International: We are a professional training, education and qualifications provider for the financial services industry. Our qualifications provide a route to membership of a professional body (STEP) and are globally portable, recognised and respected by employers, regulators and clients across the world.Main Purpose of RoleAs part of our Education Services team, you will be responsible for the delivery of our assessments/examinations and overall quality assurance as set out below.The Education Services team supports our student journey from go-live to graduation and ensures our operational and quality assurance processes are followed.Day to day you will be applying our quality assurance and assessment framework to our educational framework and operations essuring that the annual assessment calendar and project plan for assessments and examinations is executed with a high level of due dilligence and quality. You will be responsible for ensuring that processes are in place to communicate with and support Learning Support students through their studies and assessment journey.You will also be coordinating the production of examination papers by our SMEs with the Education Services team and liaising with the External Examiner(s) to obtain feedback on the draft examinations papers, esuring that both our examinations and assessments are prepared and delivered on time either in our LMS or live environment.Other areas of responsibility include:- Operating of our anti-plagiarism and anti-collusion processes for poor academic practice and malpractice liaising with our examiners where necessary- Assessing returned submissions for on-time submission and apply penalties as appropriate.- Communicating assessment and examination outcomes as appropriate within your areas of responsibility- Arranging for the allocation and supply of examinations and assessments to markers, markers sheets and guidance and the collation of marks and second marks in line with our processes- Liaising with the External Examiner(s) to obtain feedback on the draft examination papers, and to supply him/her with relevant examples of student examination scripts and coursework, marks lists etc- Applying the relevant Mitigating Circumstances and Appeals policies to students, collate relevant submissions, prepare and bring to the attention of the relevant boards- Providing administrative support for the conduct of Examination Boards in your areas of responsibility and the preparation and presentation of materials, qualitative and quantitative for the Examination Board and annual quality reviews as set out in our policies and processes from time to time.Skills and Experience Required- Experience of managing Exams and Assessments or similar and supporting students and partners through quality assurance procedures- A quality focused eye for detail and the ability to apply and enhance a regulatory framework- Good oral and verbal communication skills- An eye for detail and consistency in application of policies and processes across a variety of situations- The ability to be consistent in attention to detail and in the manner in which a task is tackled- A background working with examinations and assessments and relevant quality assurance would be an advantage- A good working knowledge Learning Management Systems- Experience of working within an international educational context would be an advantage"We are committed to equality, equality of opportunity and valuing diversity" Required skills
