Your new roleWe have an exciting 6-month fixed term contract opportunity within the Evaluation team. As part of the Evaluation team you will be undertaking analysis to support post opening project evaluations on major road projects to measure the impact of interventionsand playing a key role in supporting the delivery of evaluations.As an Evaluation Analyst, you will use your data analysis skills to generate evaluation insights, measuring the impact of a project on customer journeys. For example, providing insights into the change in traffic flows, congestion, speed, journey time andjourney reliability. Your insights will help to inform critical business decisions and embed lessons learnt to help direct efforts for continuous improvement - this will involve supporting project and programme-level evaluation design and analysis.You will also be playing a key role in supporting the delivery of evaluations, by critically reviewing reports, collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop a clear narrative, and supporting the communication of evaluation findings prior to publication.If you are looking for a role that develops your passion for managing, analysing, and visualising data and sharing learning and insights, then this is an ideal opportunity for you.What you will be leading onWith the support of a Senior Evaluation Analyst you will undertake analysis of road projects, using your analytical skills to measure the impact of a project on customer journeys.Producing insightful analytical reports, presenting a projects performance against anticipated benefits.Communicating your insights to stakeholders.Supporting continual improvement in our evaluation methods, data sources and processes including the automation of data.Ensure evaluations are effectively integrated into the business, to inform critical business decisions and embed lessons learnt to help direct efforts for continuous improvement.Supporting project and programme-level evaluation design and analysis by working closely with other areas of the business to ensure the completion of a projects benefits realisation and evaluation plan.Supporting the synthesis of the evidence base to draw wider conclusions from across the evaluation evidence base to enhance our learning.Help build a strong evaluation culture and capability within the organisation - working closely with other team members.To be successfulYou have proven experience in a data analysis role or transferable skills in managing, and reporting data.You are a strong communicator and have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholdersA highly motivated team player who leads by example and strives for continuous improvement.Strong delivery focus with demonstrable experience of using initiative to plan and prioritise workload and working to tight timescalesA bit about usOur role in the Evaluation team is to provide an independent evaluation of major projects.
