Position Overview This role will be supporting the CCS Framework Contracts for the Home Office (HO) and the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) which covers over 200 manned and unmanned TFM Sites across the UK. The contract in service dates for the HO and MoJ were 1st Nov 2016 and 22nd January 2018 respectively. Both Contracts run for 5 years, with options to extend for up to a further 1 + 1 years. The contract is managed from Interserve’s state of the art building, Ingenuity House in Solihull, and incorporates the delivery of building and infrastructure maintenance, considerable additional works (Small Works & Projects), cleaning and security services, waste and grounds maintenance and further services, such as reception and porterage.The successful candidate will be based at Ingenuity House but may be required to travel between the contract sites.The role of the Remedial Works Manager will be to ensure the successful delivery of all non PPM related additional works (specifically Remedials, but may also include Reactives and New Works) with a value between £0 and £10k from their initial inception through to handover and financial completion. They will undertake the coordination of stakeholders, direct resources, contractors and security cleared Suppliers. The Remedial Works Manager will liaise with the commercial team with the aim of procuring Remedial Works in the most cost effective manner, demonstrating ‘value for money’ to the clients. They will identify and procure the services of specialist contractors as required to successfully deliver their allocated works. It will be the Remedial Works Manager’s responsibility to manage compliance with Interserve and client agreed methodology, governance and approvals. They will also take ownership of Health and Safety on Remedial Works so that it is effectively managed.The role involves the direct line management of a number of team members based at Ingenuity House in Solihull.The role may require some travel within the UK. The successful candidate will ideally hold SC security clearance and preferably also CTC clearance. Security clearance is a prerequisite for this position.Responsibilities
