Estimator (Electrical/Construction/Facilities)£Very Competitive + Car + Fuel + Commission + Benefits + Flexible working from homeBirmingham, West MidlandsAre you an Estimator from a Electrical background looking for a long term, permanent role where you can work from home 3 to 4 days per week and have the security of working for a large Engineering GroupOn offer is a long term, stable permanent role where you will be working on some large projects and travel to customer sites. This is a stable role with a growing company.This company are a multi-million-pound turnover business with over 30 sites UK wide and over 1200 employees. This business is involved in Construciton, Facilities, Fire, Water, Sprinkler, Dry Riser systems Nationwide and provide a one stop shop to their customers.This role would suit an Estimator from a Electrical background looking for a long term, permanent role where you can work from home 3 to 4 days per week and have the security of working for a large Engineering Group.THE ROLE

  • Prepare and produce risk assessments, designs, quotations and specifications for lightning protection installation projects in response to enquiries
  • Ensure all quotations are technically sound and in accordance with the British and International standards
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Managing clients expectations and attending pre and post tender meetings.
    • THE PERSON
  • Must have design/estimating experience in Electrical estimating
  • Technical competence (ideally BS EN 62305 accreditation and/or a recognised electrical engineering qualification)
  • Good knowledge of all relevant UK and European standards
