THE FIRMKenton Black Finance are delighted to be working with a reputable and ambitious mid-tier Accountancy Practice, and the fastest growing firm within the top 100 firms of accountants to work for in the UK. Due to continued growth they are currently in the marketfor a Employment Tax Senior to join their existing team in Birmingham. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWhen performing the role of Employment Tax Senior, you will be responsible for a wide array of duties including but not limited to:--Work alongside members of staff in an environment where we offer each other support and guidance-Have a defined allocation of clients with whom you can build a relationship and act as an adviser with the full support of the manager and/or partner in each case-Support managers on a wide variety of client projects-Be involved in the completion of statutory employment tax returns and relevant calculations-Undertake tax research and use this research to formulate advice for clients-Create written reports to a high standard-Be responsible for ensuring clients understand advice and guidance and answer any questions they have-Attend client and internal meetings and write up meeting notes-Be supported in your personal training and development plan whether that involves further qualifications, formal training or informal improvementPERSON SPECIFICATION-ATT qualified-Have a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience within Employment Taxes-Present strong communication skills, both written and oral-Strong mathematic skills and present strong analytical and methodical skills-Present good knowledge of tax laws and regulationsATTRIBUTES-You should be self-motivated and driven with a positive and willing work ethic-You will need to be able to build strong and effective relationships with clients and hold a professional approach-You will need to demonstrate resilience and confidence in taking on new challenges-Ability to prioritise own workload and outcome focused and meet tight deadlines-You must be confident on Excel and other common softwareBENEFITS-25 days annual leave -Flexible Benefits-Greener car scheme-Hybrid and smart working options -Holiday Trading-Shopping DiscountsSUMMARYThis is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking accounting practice who can help you develop your accounting career to the next level and will fully support your ambitions towards becoming the best you can be with the opportunity for unlimited/uncapped career progression.To find out more please APPLY TODAYThis vacancy is being handled by Laura Banks – Kenton Black Finance.Kenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
