This excellent organisation performed extremely well during the COVID-19 pandemic whereby no employee was made redundant, no employee wasput on furlough in return great positivity throughout the business that experienced an additional 105 new hires, company profit and employees were received salary bonuses between 2-6%. Salaries on offer & work from home policy:The salary on offer for the successful Embedded Software Engineeris £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. Hybrid working of 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home is available,vice versa too. Summary of theEmbedded Software Engineering role:The Embedded Software Engineer will take responsibility of the design and development mechanical control software for the range of the organisation products and equipment. Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills:

  • Degree, HND or suitable experience in relevant field for Electronics Engineering
  • 1-2+ years industry experience
  • Graduates with 0 experience also considered
  • Understanding of developing for embedded platforms and environments
  • Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
  • A good understanding of basic hardware and its interface with software systems
  • Network interface protocolsSPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
  • Microcontroller & Microprocessor experience
  • Ability to read electronic schematics and component datasheets
  • Self-starter, good team player and good communication skills
Desirable & highly advantageous nice to have skills:
  • Version Control SystemsGIT, SVN, JIRA or similar
  • Software engineering tools e.g. IDEs, compilers, build processes, debuggers, emulators and test frameworks
  • Real Time Operating Systems Experience
  • Embedded Systems For Automation And Control
