Job Description

Sectors: Electronics, Audio, Video, Telecommunications Job title: Embedded Software EngineerLocation: Birmingham (West Midlands)Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annumCompany overview & Job Title:A rich, successful & established specialist engineering company based in Birmingham (West Midlands) who’re Global Leading experts within the Audio & Video Intelligence Industry have an exciting new role to recruit for a brand new Embedded Software Engineer to join the team and business on a permanent full time basis and in return you will be fostered with a great supportive working environment and to be working on cutting edge technologies and products. Salaries on offer:The salary on offer for the successful Embedded Software Engineer is £40,000 - £55,000per annum, depending on skillset and experience. Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills:

  • 2-3+ years industry experience
  • Experience of developing time embedded software for products and devices
  • Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
  • Embedded C is preferred
  • Microcontrollers & Microprocessors - PIC, STM32, ARM etc
  • Knowledge and experience of Texas instruments MSP430 or similar
  • Wireless communication technologies - Bluetooth, LoRa, ZigBee (at module and chipset level)
  • Wired communication technologies - I2C, SPI , USB, UART, RS232
  • Ability to read schematic diagrams of circuit designs
  • JAVA (android studio application development)
Desirable nice to have skills:
  • Python
  • Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
  • PCB Design
  • Embedded Software Environment – CCS Studio, MPLAB X, Visual Studio or similar
