Job Description

Electricity Distribution ManagerRole: Electricity Connections ManagerLocation: Remote with travel across the UK (office visits may be required)Salary: £60 000 - £75 000 + Company Benefits + Company carOur client is shaping the future of Electrical Networks ( Distribution). As a Electrical Customer Connections Manager, youll be an integral part of a focused team that are committed to finding innovative solutions to adopting safe, compliant and efficientelectrical networks and bringing new opportunities such as battery connections.This is an exciting role where you will be part of a growing team and where you will have the opportunity for profressional growth too!Job Responsibilities:- Serve as a technical expert, advising on solutions and value-engineering opportunities.- Lead selected adoption site assessments, producing detailed technical reports and action plans.- Foster strong DNO relationships and provide technical support for improved outcomes.- Contribute to Private Networks strategy, identifying and developing opportunities.- Represent our client at stakeholder events and institutions, enhancing industry presence.- Provide structured support to new ICPs, helping them meet our client’s asset adoption requirements.- Collaborate with pricing teams to optimize commercial outcomes for network adoption.- Generate comprehensive monthly activity and progress reports for key accounts.Person Specification

  • Electricity network design and estimating experience.
  • Strong understanding of distribution networks and asset risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication skills across various channels. Essential: Innovative problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with private networks, network and Distribution operations, and ENA standards.
  • Experience working directly with customers and providing account support.
  • Experience of 11 to 33kv networks
  • Understanding of exit points and metering
  • Understanding the IDNO model and Asset Values
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working. A willingness to travel if required.
  • Familiar with the design and operation of distribution networks
  • A good understanding of asset type and risk identification and mitigation (e.g. aged assets)
  • Electricity Networks experience and New Connections experience at a technical level.
  • Electrical Engineering qualifications would be advantageous.
