Electrical Design Engineer (Panels)£40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits + TrainingBirmingham, West MidlandsAre you an Electrical Design Engineer who is looking for the autonomy of a senior role, with a great work-life balance and competitive remuneration packageOn offer Is the chance to join a team of specialists, where you will become one of the go-to engineers. Here you will be recognised as an expert in your field and have the chance to implement new processes and leave your mark on the company.This company specialises in designing and manufacturing of electrical control panels and instrumentation systems for the worlds naval fleets. They have just secured a contract to work on the British Armys next-generation naval fleet, from warships and submarinesto anything in-between.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and micro-managing the other engineers work, in line with timescale and budgets. Whilst prioritising the management of the customers projects, which you will help design, as well as staying in regular contactto keep them updated with the progress. You will also be involved in the development of other engineers through regular reviews and technical training.This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer who has experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Solidworks and is looking to step up into a senior role and develop their professional skillset.The Role:

  • Design of electrical panels and Instrumentation using EPLAN and similar packages
  • Project oversight and Feedback for customers
  • Management of Engineers
The Person:
  • Solidworks, AutoCAD and EPLAN experience
  • Supervisor or management experience
  • Panel & Electrical Design Engineer background
