Job Description

6 Month Role Immediate StartingTo assist in promoting the highest level of awareness and compliance in all aspects of Safety, Health and Environment Management in line with the business zero harm strategy. This key role will not only help deliver sustainable improvements to the facilitybut also help develop a cultural change in the mind-set of all employees. It will embrace allaspects and matters relating to the Safety, Health, Wellbeing and Environmental Management of the facility, integrating a common sense approach into the business needs.Support with the development and implementation of the site EHS improvementplans.Support the implementation and sustainability of the EHS MAFACT requirements withEHS Manager.Report on key performance indicators and status at daily/weekly meetingsEnsure maintenance of all EHS related recordsCo- ordinate site Energy meetings, attend all EHS committee meetings.Collate and report EHS KPIs for the site at plant and group level as requiredCo- ordinate and deliver site inductions for all employees and non-employees(contractor controls - RAMS etc)Assist in the development, maintenance and review of site training matrices,ensuring training needs are addressed in a timely and cost effective manner.Co- ordinate and assist line managers in conducting and reviewing site riskassessments.Co- ordinate and assist line managers in the development and reviewing of site safesystems of work.Use HSE linx and Tapestry portals. Keep up to date with our compliancemanagement requirementsAssist and support the Ergonomics programme for the siteMonitor and report on incident management via Tapestry systems. Near miss,Acctrack, DWB & Hazard spotting)Support line managers in completing timely incident investigations.Participate in EHS audits, to measure safe conditions, safe acts and to ensure legalcompliance.Co- ordinate PPE requirements on site and ensure appropriate stock levels aremonitored and maintained.Carry out internal EHS inspections, checks and audits.Support deployment of EHS Management Systems and new initiatives.Provide EHS advice and guidance to all staff.Develop and maintain an understanding of applicable legislation, industry & groupstandards.Support line managers in the delivery of briefs and toolbox talks including trainingprograms.Manage the Ergonomics programme for the site.GleeEMPSBy applying you will be registered as a candidate with Gleeson Recruitment Limited.
