Join Our Team at Academics Ltd: Early Years Teacher for SEND SchoolAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Academics Ltd, a leading education agency, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Qualified Early Years Teacher to join anall-through SEND school.Position: Early Years TeacherSchool type: All-through SENDSchoolLocation: Kitts Green, Birmingham Start Date: January 2024Contract Duration: Until the end of the academic year with potential for extension into Autumn term 2024Full time/ Part Time: Full-timeAbout the School: Our client is an all-through SEND school catering to children with various needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate - Severe Learning Delays, and other learning disabilities. Committed to providing a nurturingand inclusive environment, the school focuses on fostering the holistic development of each child, ensuring they reach their full potential.Role and Responsibilities: As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a positive, safe and engaging learning environment for young learners with SEND.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate and differentiated lessons.
  • Implementing individualized learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborating with the Teaching Assistants and a multidisciplinary team to support the overall development of each child.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
  • Maintaining effective communication with parents, guardians, and support staff.
Requirements: To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A passion for working with children with SEND
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the students
Desirable: While SEND experience is desirable, it is not essential.
