As part of our continued growth, we have a requirement for a .NET Software Developer based from home / our Birmingham city centre office. We also provide eProcurement, eInventory, eHealth and eFunding solutions for clientsin the UK and around the world.What Youll be Doing:+ Design, engineer and implement new product features for .NET and SQL Server based applications.+ Support existing applications resolving defects and troubleshooting liaising with 1st and 2nd line support and occasionally customers.+ Adhere to design and software development standards.+ Maintain up to date knowledge of software development disciplines and best practices.+ Testing and QA activities+ Training and mentoring other members of the team+ Updating and writing technical documentation+ Prioritize daily activities to accomplish assignments.+ Work in a highly interactive Agile Scrum development team, participating in cross-team code and task reviews, and testing, being accountable for quality and adherence to standards.About You:+ Commercial experience using ASP.Net MVC (C#) / ASP.NET Web Forms (VB.NET) with SQL Server.+ A confidence in developing and maintaining Stored Procedures.+ A real passion for software development and the drive to learn and improve your skills.+ Software design patterns+ Understanding of full Software Development Lifecycle+ Good knowledge of SQL and relational database+ Self-motivated problem solver+ Excellent written and oral communication skills+ Be excited about enhancing your UI and UX skills+ Computer Science degree or relevant experience / trainingIt would be advantageous to have knowledge/experience of any of the following:+ ASP.Net MVC+ NET Core+ Web Services (.NET, RESTful)+ XML / JSON+ CSS / Bootstrap / Material IO (mdbootstrap)+ XAML+ Xamarin+ Windows Services (.NET)+ JavaScript Frameworks i.e. (jQuery, Vue.js)+ Git source control+ BlazorBenefits:+ Competitive Salary+ Opportunity for career progression+ Contributory pension scheme+ Flexible working with home-based workingYour Background / Previous Roles May Include:.Net Developer, Full Stack Developer, Web Applications Developer, Junior Java Developer.Interested Apply here for a fast-track path to the Hiring ManagerApplication notice We take your privacy seriously.
