Wilmington PLC are looking for a Document DesignerDocument DesignerLocation: Flexible with regular travel to Fort Dunlop, BirminghamSalary: £20k - £23k DOETerm: Full Time, PermanentWhy do we want youYou are a document designer / desktop publisher who is meticulous when it comes to detail. You have experience of proof reading, transcription, typesetting manuals and other documents using Adobe Indesign and youre looking for a varied designer/typesetter job role.In this job you will be supporting a number of businesses within the Wilmington plc portfolio on projects such as re-brands and material production for external events so you will need to be fastidious when it comes to the quality and presentation of your work. 80-90% of the work will be completed on Adobe Indesign with the remaining being on MS Word so you will also need to be competent when it comes to MS Office.A bit about us.Wilmington plc is a company with a difference. Put simply, we enable professionals and their organisations to enhance performance by providing high quality, relevant and reliable information, education and knowledge.Main Purpose of RoleDay to day you will be supporting the Wilmington plc portfolio of businesses with the production and typesetting of manuals and other documents to a high standard predominantly using Adobe Indesign working effectively to deadlines.You will be supporting a variety of brands on a variety of projects in which documentation must be professionally produced for internal and external purposes.You will be making good use of your strong meticulous attention to detail and high standards in this role and you will be working with a team with a similar outlook.Its a busy role so you will need to be incredibly organised in order to manage the different projects you are working on and to be able to complete the work consistently to schedule, prioritising tasks and adapt to changing workloads within the team all the while.If you have a positive outlook, enjoy working closely with colleagues and clients and you enjoy variety and change, this could be just the thing for you so why not apply.Skills and Experience Required- Experience working in a document designer / desktop publisher role or similar involving proof reading, transcription and, typesetting in Adobe Indesign- Excellent document editing, formatting & creation skills in Adobe Indesign- Great attention to detail, speed and accuracy- Excellent technical ability with Adobe InDesign, MS Word & Powerpoint- Strong working knowledge of other Adobe and Microsoft productsAs a portfolio Company, we are all different at Wilmington.
