Job Description

Calling all ICT Engineers and help desk assistant in the Birmingham area! Are you autonomous Have a keen eye for fixing issues and have an experienced background in ICT Our client in Birmingham is looking for a worker to help a specific NHS Trust keep their ICT Systems in check!Pay Grade- Band 6 (Rate-£18.55 PAYE Per hour).Hours: 9:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. (37.5 Hours a week). Duties: To assist with the deployment of Windows, -Build Laptops / Desktops, -trouble shoot problems, -floor walk, -provide technical support to users.Provide Technical AssistanceHelp desk assistants provide technical assistance of all kinds, such as assisting customers with account creation and other software-specific functions. They provide this assistance over the phone and through email and other messaging applications.Troubleshoot ProblemsHelp desk assistants troubleshoot problems and find fixes for them while relaying information to customers or staff members, such as why the problem occurred and how to resolve the issue.Record CommunicationsHelp desk assistants log communications to keep a detailed record of all problems diagnosed and fixed.Install Computer ProgramsHelp desk assistants install software programs and updates to fix problems and resolve technical issues.Perform User Account MaintenanceHelp desk assistants perform account maintenance in the user database. This includes deleting users, adding new users, and updating user information in the system.Applicants should be confident in their own abilities and keen learners in order to fulfil the role to the best of your ability.
