Job Description

An experienced Mechanical design engineer who will be working on designing filtrations and working with fabricated/machined components.Client DetailsA World leading engineer Manufacturer specialising in filtrations. Working within a global scale manufacturing a comprehensive range of strainers, Filters and Pressure Vessels. The companys engineering solutions protects critical and expensive plant equipmentin Oil and Energy.DescriptionThis job requires a design engineer who has knowledge or experience within:

  • Working with design team to solve problems and support the customers with their needs
  • Developing 3D/2D Models
  • Working with pressure vessel designs and code
  • Reviewing mechanical design calculations for pressure vessels, columns and storage tanks.
  • Applying design to cost and design for manufacturability methods to support operations teams.
Working hours
  • Mon - Thurs - 08:45am - 17:00
  • Friday 09:00 - 13:00pm
ProfileAn Experienced Design engineer who has knowledge and experience of designing pressure vessels and code.
  • A recognised Engineering qualification (E.g. HND/Degree)
  • Experience in Computer Aided Engineering Design and some practical experience of CAE tools (such as FEA / CFD / Mouldflow) would be advantageous.
  • The candidate will have a proven track record of designing and delivering innovative engineering solutions and products into a variety of sectors and industries.
  • The candidate needs excellent problem solving skills and must possess and be able to demonstrate a flair for creativity and innovation.
