Job Description

Data Science and Machine Learning Architect £80,000 Salary Hybrid WorkingThe Role

  • You will be working for an exciting start-up consultancy in the marketing industry.
  • You will use your Data Science/Machine learning capabilities to ensure the business is satisfying client needs and maximizing revenue for company expansion.
  • You will be working across a range of sectors and industries, constantly applying and developing your skillset to ensure the business is consistently outperforming the market.
Responsibilities
  • You will play a core part in company projects to ensure the data plan is implemented successfully and aligned with company objectives.
  • You will be applying data science and machine learning techniques to create a compelling data vision and drive business innovation, whilst defining and implementing data strategy.
  • You will establish and govern a data road map with key milestones and deliverables that work holistically with the technology innovation team.
  • Advocate for best practices for infrastructure and coding regarding machine learning specific requirements
  • Discuss the ML platform requirements with the Data Science and/or analyst colleagues on a deep level and help the team to deliver them
  • Balance between creating a long-term vision to the ML Platform and shipping the next best feature that will maximize value in the short-term
  • Lead the creative use of current and future technologies to ensure our products are leading edge
Key Skills
  • Extensive skills and experience in machine learning, data engineering, and delivery.
  • Good understanding of the engineering challenges of deploying machine learning systems to production.
  • Extensive experience in Python.
  • General understanding of machine learning concepts: regression and classification, clustering, neural networks, feature selection, cross-validation, curse of dimensionality, bias-variance trade-off and more.
  • Experience delivering solutions in an Agile environment.
  • Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong data architecture and data analyst development skills
  • Familiarity with new technologies and knowing where its appropriate to use them
  • Demonstrable experience in Data Science and AI.
  • Have previously worked on building machine learning platforms.
  • Have experience with MLOps tools and libraries
  • Have experience with Data Engineering
  • Experience with cloud-based services
