Data & Integration Engineer - £60K - £70K SQL & Python Birmingham city centre based - Hybrid working. This brand new vacancy has opened up due to mass business demand and growth.About the roleThe Data & Integration Engineer role combines excellent technical and programming skills with the ability to communicate across departments and understand business needs.Reporting to the Head of Systems & Architecture you will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from data mining and acquisition through to systems integration. You will take ownership of the organisations data, ensuring that it is efficiently acquiredfrom several SAAS Cloud software systems, stored and organised to serve different business purposes such as analysis by the Data Insights team or fed into other systems for further processing.You will plan, design and implement data warehousing and systems integration projects, including creating documentation for future managers and engineers to address issues. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business to gather requirementsand be capable of translating these into specifications that will inform the design and testing of data systems.You will also take responsibility for ensuring that existing solutions are maintained to a high standard of reliability and availability, documenting appropriately and assisting colleagues in troubleshooting issues.What we need from you:
