Job Description

Pertemps are delighted to present this fantastic opportunity for a DATA ANALYST to join our client based in Birmingham who are one of UKs leading suppliers of porcelain, ceramic and metal products.This is an opportunity to join a progressive, ambitious and energetic company who have been established for 27 years and become leading experts within their industry.As a Data Analyst you will be reporting to the Financial Controller and Business Systems Manager, you will have previous experience of data analysis within a commercial environment.This is a Permanent, full-time position.Hours MondayFriday 8.30-5.00 pmSalary £25000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)THE ROLE

  • Maintaining and setting up stock codes in SAP Business One and File Maker
  • Managing layers of interconnected data (Product/Supplier/Transportation/Sales)
  • Producing Weekly/Monthly Reports
  • Investigating and responding to pricing queries and discrepancies in stock data
  • Validating the quality of data and having the ability to interrogate data from different sources
  • Building a new reporting template to improve the flow of information
  • Having the ability to work on different projects simultaneously
PERSON SPECIFICATION/SKILLS
  • Previous experience of data analysis in a Commercial environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong Analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • To have fantastic interpersonal skills and be a team player
  • Advanced level at MS Excel, experience of creating and working with pivot tables
  • Previous experience of SAP
  • Have a minimum AAT qualification or part qualified ACCA/CIMA or previous experience in a similar role.
