Job Description

This business has enjoyed substantial growth over recent years and is now looking to increase its headcount by hiring a Customer Support Advisor to support a customer base of over 1 million!Customer-centric, this innovative business that has links to the automotive sector has built a brand synonymous with trust and continually evolves to ensure its always delivering a top-tier service which it couldn’t do without its people who are all fundamentalto their overall success.People are a real focus for the business and they have put a huge emphasis on culture in recent years, successfully building an environment that sparks collaboration and offering a suite of fantastic benefits including hybrid working, pension contribution, access to an EAP and Bupa Healthcare, 22 days annual leave which rises to 27 with service, and ongoing professional development opportunities!Sitting within a friendly team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the hire process including quality checking claims to ensure no delays have occurred
  • Accurately assessing claim status and documentation and validating the claim type to ensure the claim is effectively managed and authorised
  • Verifying all relevant and correct documentation is received to the correct standard and recorded on the claim
  • Effectively monitoring the timely processing of assigned motor claims to deliver agreed targets
  • Liaising with external partners and maintaining regular contact with customers
  • Ensuring all costs associated with the hire period can be billed and recovered through efficient claim management
The successful candidate will have:
  • Demonstrable customer service skills, ideally gained within a fast-paced, phone-based environment
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and confident in picking up new software
  • Strong organisation skills, recognizes the importance of working to deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent communication skills, able to capture information and relay it in written format
  • A tenacious attitude, adaptable and results-orientated
