Job Description

Credit Controller required for a temporary to permanent opportunity based in Kitts Green, Birmingham.My client is recruiting due to continued growth, seeking a skilled and diligent Credit Controller to join their finance team. As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the companys credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments from clients and minimising credit risk. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communicationskills and a proven track record in credit control. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely and efficient collection of payments
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients regarding payment terms, outstanding invoices, and dispute resolution
  • Generate and analyse credit and collections reports, providing regular updates to management on the status of receivables
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other relevant departments to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Resolve any invoice and account queries in a timely manner
Skill and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with credit management software is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
