Job Description

Credit Controller BirminghamLocation: B3 2HBSalary: £23,000 - £25,000Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new challenge Do you have excellent communication skills Are you a strong team player TeacherActive have an exciting new opportunity to join our vibrant and passionate team of Credit Controllers inBirmingham.The role of a Credit Controller:

  • Taking responsibility for a designated sales ledger as part of a credit control team
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date customer details and account records
  • Maintaining regular customer contact by phone and email to ensure invoices are clear for payment
  • Resolving queries both internal and external, making necessary adjustments within company guidelines and policies
  • Monitoring overdue payments
  • Maintaining accurate record of activity
  • Investigating and resolving payments on account
  • Balancing, processing and allocating daily receipts on to the accounting system
  • Carrying out ad hoc tasks and reports as required
  • Ensuring monthly cash collection targets are met
Key skills required:
  • Previous experience of dealing with high volume ledgers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in Excel and Microsoft applications
  • Excellent attention to details and organisational skills
  • Experience of working with SAGE
