An amazing opportunity for an experienced Credit professional, working in a well established Credit team of 8, high performing team reporting into the Credit Manager.The organisation is a UK market leader but with operations across Europe expanding, in your new role you will manage a ledger made up of 100-120 live accounts but with a monthly cash collection in excess of £8million. Dealing with a ledger made up of largePLCs through to sole traders, in a market which has not been effected by the pandemic.Your new role Opening new accounts and reviewing accounts on a monthly basis, accessing risk and setting Credit Limits Putting accounts on and off stop Reviewing Credit Risk, using a credit checker and clients balance sheets Chasing customers over the phone and by email for overdue payments Pro-actively managing accounts, calling customers before the due date, resolving any queries and ensuring payment will be made on time Daily bank reconciliations and Cash Allocation Emailing customers daily, invoices, credit notes, rebate discounts Reporting to the Credit Manager Supporting the wider business, working closely with sales and operations to provide customers with the highest level of customer serviceWhat youll need 2+ years Credit Control experience Strong telephone manner, able to business partner internally and negotiation skills are a must Good level of Excel skills CICM qualification or studying towards qualification is desirable but not essentialWhat you will get in return 22 days annual leave rising to 25 days with service Competitive salary Training and support in the role Study Support Flexible start time between 8-9am37.5 hours a weekEarly finish Friday at least once a month
