Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to promote all facets of MACs programme by leading on a range of creative digital content. The purpose of this role is to produce high quality, fresh, contemporary and original digital content that maximises participationand brand awareness across MACs activities from exhibitions, music, theatre, cinema, community and learning and participation to corporate and commercial events.We are keen to use digital communication to build a stronger relationship with artists and audiences, to offer greater insight into our diverse work.Creative Digital Producer Responsibilities:Create content -

  • Work across various teams to develop and coordinate use of digital technology and ensure that this is embedded throughout all aspects of the organisation.
  • Lead on digital/live streaming events, for MAC and its commercial clients/creative partners during hires and special events.
  • Work with technical staff, and external contactors to produce video content to support MACs artistic programmes.
  • Contribute towards programming meetings to digitally amplify the profile of MACs artistic programme and audience experience e.g., through documentation of exhibitions, filmed interviews, downloadable resources, live online screenings, social media contentand events.
  • Work with the Creative Learning Producer and technical teams to deliver blended learning and build an additional online resources and options for students.
Administration -
  • Ensure high quality digital accessibility for all MACs digital products e.g., websites, video content and other digital tools and technologies are accessible.
  • Develop strategies for tracking and monitoring the reach/impact of digital content for regular evaluation and reporting purposes and to inform future strategy.
  • Deliver within budget and to agreed targets and timescales.
  • Operate in accordance with MACs employment, Health and Safety, Safeguarding GDPR, Equal Opportunities and other practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that all digital projects meet the highest standards in cybersecurity and GDPR Compliance.
Creative Digital Producer Requirements:
  • Strong experience of digital project management, including managing deadlines, resources, people and budgets in an environment of competing priorities.
  • Experience working with and managing external web developers and digital content creators with a good understanding system design, development process and integration of systems.
  • Experience of developing/ producing digital content for public spaces and audiences.
  • Understanding of accessibility compliance.
  • Technically competent and computer literate with a willingness to learn new skills and understanding a variety of software, including Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Adobe CC (Including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Excellent understanding of online platforms and tools, CMS Systems (WordPress, Craft Cms) spiffily Around Website digital content creation and editing.
  • Ability to demonstrate creative flair and aptitude for content creation and editing.
  • Awareness of current and emerging digital platforms.
  • Media production skills including photography and film camera work, photo and video editing, live streaming knowledge and skills and graphic design skills.
