Job Description

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a job based in Birmingham for a Counselling Psychologist to work 30 hours per week.The salary for this permanent Counselling Psychologist job is £45,000 per annum.Duties:

  • Delivering 1-1 and group therapy to inpatients and outpatients
  • Working alongside other therapists with a range of modalities, Consultant Psychiatrist, Ward Doctors and Nursing staff
  • Be part of a team delivering two group programmes to our inpatients and day care patients
  • Be providing one to one therapy to patients with a variety of presentations including depression, anxiety, addictions and trauma
  • Support the acute adult ward with psychology provision through formulations and assessments
Requirements of the Counselling Psychologist:
  • Have full accreditation with relevant governing bodies such as HCPC, BPS or equivalent
  • A qualified Counselling Psychologist
  • Experience in formulations and assessing is essential with knowledge in psychometrics
  • Willing to undertake a DBS check
