Job Description

My public sector client based in Birmingham City Centre is looking for an Administrative Officer to provide administrative support for the Redundancy Payments Team. This is a potential 12 month temporary assignment Monday to Friday paying £11.53 p/hr, fulltime 37.00 hours a week, this role is a fully onsite roleAs part of this role, you will be required, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:" Provide excellent customer service in both written and telephone contact to both internal and external customers. " Answering a broad spectrum of customer enquiries regarding redundancy claims (by telephone and emails) " Delivery of professional, prompt & efficient performance in line with legislation, processes, and guidance. " Learn and apply correct security protocols. " Liaise with relevant professional and technical experts, to ensure that claims/applications/enquiries progress to their appropriate conclusion in a timely manner.Skills required:" Work collaboratively and be an effective and engaged member of the team, building effective and productive relationships with colleagues within the team and wider organisation " Effectively handle enquiries from customers by communicating clearly, concisely, and openly" Work using your own initiative to organise, prioritise and co-ordinate work tasks to meet tight deadlines" Work flexibly across a broad range of roles and tasks " Work confidently with IT systems including MS office such as Word, Excel and TeamsPlease note this role will require a DBS check, and three years referencing.If you feel that you would have the necessary skill set for this role and are ready to take on a new challenge, please apply online.
