Job Description

Job title: Contract ManagerReports to: Head of PartnershipBased at:Birmingham (Hybrid working)Job Purpose:

  • To support relationships with commissioners, public bodies and other funders in England
  • (mainly the Money and Pensions Service) and devolved administrations (Scotland, Wales and
  • Northern Ireland governments), ensuring that the Trust delivers against contract requirements,
  • submits timely reports and raises risks.
  • To support an internal governance framework and ensure processes are in place to monitor
  • delivery against the contract.

  • realistic bids and proposals, rooted in evidence and built on our reputation for excellent
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Contract and relationship management
  • Develop a strong working relationship with commissioners to understand their requirements and processes in full, working closely with operational leads.
  • Fully understand contract SLAs and KPIs and work with operational colleagues and partners to resolve issues quickly, understanding timelines, dependencies, additional resource needs to ensure that SLA/KPI’s are achieved.
  • Support monitoring and compliance against Contract Management Plans through a monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting framework – including flagging up risks,recording mitigation strategies and ensuring meetings with commissioners happen to plan and arewell-documented.
  • Develop and manage processes to ensure the smooth compilation of performance/financial reports from across the Trust and compile, achieve sign off and submit these reports to funders/commissioners in line with their requirements in a timely.
