Job Description

Are you looking for a fantastic step in your events career, joining one of Birmingham’s most iconic venuesTHE COMPANYThis established group and their venues are the go to for a variety of large scale events including conferences, awards ceremonies, exhibitions, sporting events, exhibitions and much more for a huge range of exciting clients. With over 750 events per year youwill have the opportunity to lead the team in delivering events across a variety of event spaces working with the best in the business.THE ROLEWith a growing amount of events and clients, there is now the opportunity for a Conference & Banqueting Manager to oversee event operations across site and support the Senior Management in delivering a successful events calendar. This is a broad role that includes:

  • Communicating with the wider catering team to ensure operation excellence and great customer service
  • Setting up, delivering and breaking down event operations
  • Running team briefings
  • Acting as point of liaison between catering staff and management
  • Planning catering resources effectively
  • Managing and monitoring F&B stock
  • Ensuring catering staff comply with H&S and licensing requirements
THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate must have previous experience of working in a catering environment, where they preferably supervised a team. Excellent customer service is a must.
